Hello! I am a dedicated and compassionate psychologist with a Master’s degree in Psychosocial Clinical Studies. With extensive experience working with marginalised communities and a deep commitment to social justice, I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for my clients. My journey in mental health began with my work at the Centre for Equity Studies, where I provided counselling to homeless individuals, helping them navigate the challenges of their circumstances.
I am particularly passionate about relational psychoanalysis, which emphasises the importance of the therapeutic relationship and mutual influence between therapist and client. My approach is grounded in building trust, understanding, and empathy, which I believe are crucial for effective therapy. I am inspired by the works of pioneers like Stephen Mitchell and Neil Altman and their contributions to relational psychoanalysis. I am committed to continuous learning and staying current with developments in psychology to provide the best possible support to my clients. Whether through traditional in-person sessions or online counselling, I am here to offer a non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings, address your concerns, and work towards a more fulfilling life.
Understanding and addressing the systems of oppression that uniquely affect each of us is another crucial aspect of my work. In today’s world, many of us struggle with isolation and loneliness due to relational and systemic pressures. Therapy is about letting you know that you are not alone and that you do not have to suffer in isolation. Together, we can redirect your emotional, mental, and relational compass towards a life of passion, love, hope, and fulfillment.
